Fct'99 Final Version a Protocol for Distributed Cooperative Work
نویسنده
چکیده
After a brief review of hidden algebra, we give behavioral speciications for set theory and closure operators, and then use these to give a behavioral speciication of an abstract protocol to support distributed cooperative work structured by dependencies in such a way as to form what we call a weak closure operator. We give some correctness proofs for this protocol, and then describe a concrete instance of it, called the tatami protocol, that supports distributed cooperative proving. Finally, we draw some methodological conclusions.

متن کاملA New Framework for Distributed Multivariate Feature Selection
Feature selection is considered as an important issue in classification domain. Selecting a good feature through maximum relevance criterion to class label and minimum redundancy among features affect improving the classification accuracy. However, most current feature selection algorithms just work with the centralized methods. In this paper, we suggest a distributed version of the mRMR featu...
متن کاملDeveloping a Protocol for Psychiatric Social Work Interventions
Introduction: Psychiatric social work (PSW) is one of the most important areas of social work practice. So far, no protocol has been designed for these interventions in Iran. In this study, for the first time PSW protocol has been designed and presented. Methods: This study was conducted in three phases: desk review, directed content analysis and group discussion for receiving experts' comments...
متن کاملDistributed Cooperative Web Servers
Traditional techniques for a distributed web server design rely on manipulation of central resources, such as routers or DNS services, to distribute requests designated for a single IP address to multiple web servers. The goal of the Distributed Cooperative Web Server (DCWS) system development is to explore application-level techniques for distributing web content. We achieve this by dynamicall...
متن کاملA Distributed Event Service for Adaptive Group Awareness
This paper is directly focused on the design of middleware functions to support a distributed cooperative authoring environment on the World Wide Web. Using the advanced storage and access functions of the PIÑAS middleware, co-authors can produce fragmented and replicated documents in a structured, consistent and efficient way. However, despite it provides elaborated, concerted, secure and para...
